Most daily moisturisers hydrate and stop there. This one carries the same six tone-correcting actives as the rest of the range, at a strength built for the face.
Niacinamide
High on the ingredient list. Works on the look of uneven patches while supporting the skin barrier — so evening out your tone doesn't cost you comfort.
Vitamin C
As ascorbyl glucoside — a gentler, more stable form that suits daily use on the face without the sting.
Alpha-arbutin
A well-tolerated tone corrector that targets the appearance of stubborn marks. No sting, no peeling, no drama.
Azelaic acid
The one dermatologists reach for when a blemish has gone but the mark hasn't.
Liquorice root
Calming, and long used to soften the appearance of discolouration. It keeps the rest of the complex from feeling harsh.
Carrot root
Antioxidant-rich and warm-toned. It's the reason the finish reads lit rather than ashy — which is the whole point on deeper skin.
Underneath the actives
Shea butter, glycerin and panthenol for the hydration that makes twice-daily use realistic instead of aspirational.

Why we made this
The brightening aisle kept offering our customers one of two things: something that only moisturised, or something that promised to change their colour. Neither is what she asked for.
She asked for her tone to look even. For the mark left by last year's breakout to stop announcing itself. So we put six actives in one bottle, on a base she'd actually reach for twice a day — and we tested it on our own skin first.

Will this lighten my skin?
No. This is a brightening and tone-evening cream — it works on the look of dark spots, marks and dullness so your tone reads more even. It is not a skin lightener, it contains no hydroquinone, mercury or steroids, and we don't sell it as one.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes. Give it a minute to settle and it sits cleanly under foundation without pilling.
Does it contain SPF?
No. Wear a separate sunscreen over the top in daylight — it protects the work the actives are doing, and unprotected sun is the fastest way to undo it.
Cream or serum — which do I need?
The cream if you want one step. Both if you want the serum's concentration and the cream's hydration; serum first, cream on top.

The formula contains azelaic acid. Speak to your GP or midwife before starting anything new — we'd rather you asked than guessed.
