  1. Perform a strand test and sensitivity patch test 24-48 hours before full application. Protect scalp and hairline with petroleum jelly.
  2. Wearing gloves, apply relaxer evenly to dry, unwashed hair in sections, avoiding the scalp. Smooth gently and process for the time determined by the strand test.
  3. Rinse hair thoroughly with warm water until all relaxer is removed. Immediately shampoo with a neutralizing shampoo until lather is white, then deep condition.
  4. Style as desired. Maintain hair health with regular conditioning, moisturizing, and heat protection.
