  2. Lather well and massage thoroughly into hair and scalp. Observe the lather: it will be pink initially.
  3. Continue to shampoo until the lather turns completely white, indicating proper neutralization. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  4. For best results, follow with Affirm 5-in-1 Reconstructor or your preferred conditioning treatment to further strengthen and moisturize.
