- Preparation & Safety First: Before any application, perform a mandatory strand test and a patch test on a small area of skin 48 hours in advance to check for any allergic reactions. Always wear suitable, disposable gloves throughout the mixing and application process to protect your hands. Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Precise Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, carefully mix the L'Oréal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 40 Vol, 12% with your chosen L'Oréal Professionnel hair colour or lightening powder/cream. Adhere strictly to the mixing ratios and specific instructions provided by your chosen hair colour product to ensure optimal performance and desired results.
- Even Application: Apply the colour mixture immediately to dry, unwashed hair using a brush. Ensure even saturation from root to tip or as per your desired application technique (e.g., highlights, global application). Avoid contact with the scalp if using for off-scalp techniques unless specifically directed by the colour product's instructions.
- Processing & Rinsing: Allow the mixture to develop on the hair for the time recommended in your specific hair colour or lightening product instructions. Do not exceed the maximum processing time. Once development is complete, thoroughly emulsify the product with a little warm water before rinsing the hair until the water runs clear. Follow with a post-colour shampoo and conditioner, ideally from a colour-safe range, to seal the cuticle and enhance shine.
