  1. Place the durag over your head, aligning the front edge with your hairline. For optimal wave formation, ensure all hair is brushed downwards and covered.
  2. Take the two long straps and pull them backwards, crossing them firmly behind your head. Bring the straps forward again, either tying them directly in front or crossing them once more before tying them securely at the back or side.
  3. Once tied, gently pull down on the 'cape' (the flap at the back) to ensure a snug, even compression across your entire head. Adjust the tightness until it feels comfortable yet firm enough to hold your hair in place without causing discomfort.
